Building Industry Consulting Service International Inc. (BICSI)
BICSI is a professional association serving the telecommunications and building industry. Founded in 1974, this organization
was created as a non-profit trade association whose programs cover a broad spectrum of the voice, video and data industry.
Members sit on the committee for the EIA/TIA Commercial Building Telecommunications Industry Standards.
The primary goal of BICSI is to promote excellence and safety in the design, installation and administration of low-voltage
distribution systems. This is done through annual conferences, a certification/registration program, conference publications
and newsletters and a variety of educational programs offered through the BICSI Institute at locations throughout North America.
BICSI membership has grown steadily since its founding to over 3,600 members in more than 22 countries around the world.
